During the Spring Festival travel peak, China Southern Airlines will add more than 5400 flights in 41 domestic cities, of which 486 flights will fly to Hainan, accounting for more than 9% of the added flights.

On Jan.25 alone, about 552 flights departed from and arrived at Sanya Phoenix International Airport and Haikou Meilan International Airport with a total passenger throughput of 79,200, up 13.9% and 20.2% from the previous month.

Since the passenger throughputs of Haikou and Sanya have been on the rise since this winter, China Southern plans to increase the round-trip flights of Hainan from 5,288 to 5,774 flights to meet the demand, and 28,000 seats will be provided during the Spring Festival travel peak.

In addition, China Southern Airlines will provide more first-class seats and improve the service capacity for VIP passengers to ensure the superior experiences of high-end passengers.
