The 12th Annual Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) 2013 will be held in Bo'ao Town, Hainan province from April 6 to 8.

The Annual Conference, with the theme of "Asia Seeking Development for all: Restructuring, Responsibility and Cooperation", will feature 51 varied discussion sessions covering reflection, reform, transformation, and innovation of development paths for different regions and industries.

"Strengthening the sense of responsibility for common development paths among government decision makers, business managers and individuals, and the active promotion of economic co-operation at all levels and in all fields are also important" said Zhou Wenzhong, the secretary-general of Bo'ao Forum for Asia, in Beijing on Wednesday.

Mr. Zhou also said that about 2,000 participants including government representatives, business leaders, academics and media would attend the conference.

The BFA was formally inaugurated in February 2001 and aims to enhance the cooperation and exchanges between Asian countries, and between Asian countries and non-Asian countries.
