Hainan plans to build 22 tourist information service centers in 9 counties and cities across the island by 2013 to provide convenient and high quality travel services to local residents and tourists.

To date, 30.6 million yuan of funds have been allocated to the project and design work of 21 centers has been completed. Among them, the centers located in Haikou Qilou Street and Bo'ao Town have started construction and are expected to be completed this March.

As the only two intelligent tourism cities in Hainan, Haikou will open the e-commerce platform and Sanya will build the center in Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone to actively develop intelligent tourism.
