The 2012 China’s Top 200 Counties in Investment Potential list was unveiled on December 20 and Chengmai County, Baisha Li Minority Autonomous County, Baoting Li & Miao Minority Autonomous County, Changjiang Li Minority County and Ding’an County were on the list. 

The annual selection is co-hosted by the Great Southern Employment Development Committee (GSEDC), World Brands Organization, the US-China Economic Trade & Investment General Chamber of Commerce (USCGC), Europe-America-Asia Cooperation Union for Investment in Industry and Commerce (EAACU), China Famous Brands Development Research Association (CFBRA) and World Cities and World Business Research Association (WWRA), and is based on 16 indicators.

The selection was chosen from 1,578 domestic counties concerning reform innovation, industrial development, historical landscapes, cultural activities, ecological constructions, environment protection, tourist resources, investment environment and brand promotion.

The counties listed will have the chance to be invited to New York, Tokyo, London, Singapore, Seoul, Beijing, Hong Kong and Macau to attend special promotions of investment environment, investment project and tourism resource.
