Fake 4-star hotel required to rectify by tourism department in Haikou
Haikou Huayuan Grand Hotel
A month-long inspection of hotels conducted by Haikou Tourism Committee, Haikou Public Security Bureau, Haikou Industrial & Commercial Bureau and Haikou Fire Department begun on the afternoon of 11th June.
The Huayuan Grand Hotel, on No.11 Haixiu Road, was found to be illegally advertising itself as a 4-star hotel. Besides, any sign of star hotel could not be found there.
An official of Haikou Tourism Committee said, “The Huayuan Grand Hotel, which has not been evaluated and rated by any hotel star rating organizations, is suspected of illegally using fake advertisements to attract customers. And the operator of the hotel has been asked to rectify this.
