Movie theater industry ranks first in the public service industries satisfaction survey in Haikou.
 
On 31st May, Haikou released the result of the “2011 satisfaction survey on public service industries”. The survey shows the overall satisfaction rate of Haikou’s public service industries in 2011 has stalled at 83.81%, increasing slightly compared to the 83.37% recorded in 2010.

The movie theater industry leads the top 5 industries, followed by mobile communication, civil aviation, electricity and water supply, according to the survey. And hospitals, public transportation, taxi, property management and tax run out the last 5 industries.

The survey was jointly carried out by Haikou Municipal Office for Rectifying and Haikou Public Opinion Research Center. It was conducted over several months from October 2011 to January 2012. The survey aims to evaluate citizens’ satisfaction levels with 30 public service industries in Haikou such as hospitals, retail industry, public transportation and electricity.

According to the official of Haikou Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, the overall public service industries satisfaction rate, which is 83.81%, fails to meet the standards of a civilized city, which should not be lower than 85%. The survey also shows the satisfaction rate of 13 service industries has reached 83.8%, with 12 industries stuck between 80% and 85% and 5 industries under 80%.
