With a total investment of 11 billion yuan, the Haikou Xinhai Comprehensive Logistics Park will start construction in December. Upon its completion, the project will become the largest comprehensive logistics park in Hainan.

The project is located at the Xiuying District, Haikou and is listed as one of the key projects for the 12th 5-Year Plan.

The first-phase project will be completed by the end of 2013, and the total investment will reach 750 million yuan.

The park comprises of four sections, including a production materials section, comprehensive services section, a logistics distribution section and a logistics of cereals and oils section.

The Xinhai Logistics Park will be a large and modern comprehensive logistics base that will combine truck-road transportation, multimodal transportation, warehousing, distribution, quality inspection, commercial finance services and real estate management.
