Guangzhou Sunshine moves petroleum refinery cargoes to Hainan
Power lines removed to make way for 8.5-meter high transports
Guangzhou Sunshine Int’l Logistics Co. has transported refinery cargoes by road and barge from a factory in Qinzhou, China, to Hainan.
The shipment was handled by Guangzhou Sunshine for China National Petroleum Company. In all, 48 pieces of equipment were transported, including one that measured 28.5 meters long, 8.2 meters wide and 8.5 meters high, according to a statement from the Worldwide Project Consortium on behalf of its Chinese member.
Trailers were used to move the cargoes from a factory in Qinzhou to the Qinzhou port, a distance of about 5 kilometers. Twenty six obstacles, including high-voltage lines, were removed to allow the trucks to pass through. At Qinzhou, the equipment was loaded onto a barge that carried it south to Hainan.
