Hainan will be adding new routes to Seoul, the capital of South Korea, and more flights to Hong Kong in the fourth quarter of 2012, an official from Hainan Tourism Commission said on 23rd October.

In order to attract more tourists, Hainan has signed an agreement with a Korean Hotel & Air Company to launch a one-year charter flight from Seoul to Sanya in the middle of November. There will be two flights per week. Aside from this, charter flights from Seoul to Haikou may be available in January, 2013.

As well as this, travel agencies, hotels, scenic spots and airlines in Hainan will be offering travel deals to help travelers to cut cost.

The tourism industry continues to be an economic driver in Hainan, and it has brought a wealth of benefits to the province in the first three quarters of this year.
