A group of 11 Chinese musicians in Hainan to collect folk songs
A group of 11 renowned Chinese musicians spent some time in South China's Hainan, experiencing folk culture and life in the South China Sea areas and collecting folk songs, Peole's Daily reported.
The last stop on the tour, Xisha Yongxing Island of China's southernmost Sansha city, welcomed the musicians by holding a get-together on Wednesday to exchange lyrics and music.
The beautiful landscape and simple local customs and practices inspired the musicians' creative passion.
Some pieces of music were produced, eulogizing the beauties of Hainan province and expressing patriotic feelings.
