The government of Qionghai City, Hainan is planning to step up its gardening and landscaping construction plans in a bid to build the city into a garden city.
 
Located at the Jiaji District, Longshou Field is one of the largest fields in Qionghai with a total area of 10,000 Mu. The region will be the first place to carry out the plan of transforming the city into a beautiful, environmentally sustainable garden city.
 
According to the plan the villages around Longshou Field will be turned into small parks, and more focus will be placed on upgrading the road network in order to form the villages into a sightseeing landscape region. Besides this, the government plans to transform the area into an agricultural demonstration zone by introducing a variety of vegetables and fruits.
 
To improve the residents’ living conditions around the area of development, there are also plans to make full advantage of the local rich culture by developing rural tourist products
