Teams from Hainan & other regions competing in China Club Challenge Match
The China Club Challenge Match, the only sailing competition between sailing clubs in China, will be unveiled at Wuyuanwan Bay in Xiamen between the 1st and 7th of October this year.
Roughly 30 teams composed of nearly 200 athletes, mainly from Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Hainan and Taiwan, will slug it out in the sailing race. Xiamen IronRock Universal Team, composed of sailors from the Xiamen sailboat which has just finished its first round-the-world voyage on 14th September this year, will also vie to be champions in the event.
The opening ceremony will be held at 9:00am on 1st October at the scenic Wuyuanwan Bay.
The China Club Challenge Match is Organized by the Chinese Yachting Association and Xiamen Municipal City Government and undertaken by Xiamen Sports Federation, Xiamen Yachting Association and IRONROCK Sailing Club. The event is held annually.
