Hainan to lower entry fees of scenic spots during National Day holiday
To fight against high entry fees for tourist attractions and ban redundant ticket charges for the upcoming National Day holidays, Hainan provincial government is planning to lower the price of admission tickets to scenic spots.
Six scenic spots across the island will be included in the campaign, with a price reduction of 15%.
With regards to the hotel room rates, Sanya Price Control Bureau has released the 204 hotel room rates for the upcoming National Day holidays. Release information showed that rooms with rates less than 1,000 yuan account for 59.1% of total room numbers.
Meanwhile, the bureau has also launched a standard pricing system to regulate the seafood market starting September 1st. The city’s seafood prices are expected to drop by an average of 20% after the pricing system is introduced.
