Jointly organized by various cultural sections of the government, the 1st Hainan Arts Festival will kick off on September 19.
 
This year, as one of the major arts festivals in Hainan, the festival will present a total of 30 brilliant tourism art performances during the 11 day long cultural feast.
 
The opening ceremony is set to take place on September 19 at Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center and will see youth drama performed by the Sanya Dancing Group. The following days will see performances in music, dance, and opera at the Haikou People’s Hall.
 
The closing ceremony falls on September 29 at Hainan Grand Theater. Hainan’s original dance performance named the Li People’s Story will be brought to the stage by the most renowned stage actors in Hainan.
 
Besides, the acclaimed Little Birch Tree Dance Troupe from Russia will present their spectacular performances to enrich the Hainan Arts Festival.
