Hainan ranks last in China’s Public Cultural Services Index

Hainan was listed the last one in a ranking of comprehensive index for the National Public Cultural Services among the 31 cities unveiled in Beijing on August 28.

According to the report, the top 5 cities in China are Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Sichuan and Henan.

The last 5 cities among the ranking list are Tianjin, Qinghai, Ningxia, Tibet and Hainan.

Besides, in terms of the average index for National Public Cultural Services among the 31 cities, Beijing topped the list, followed by Beijing, Tianjin, Zhejiang and Qinghai.

The comprehensive index system consists of 38 indices including public cultural investment, public cultural institutions, public cultural activities and public cultural enjoyment.
