Hainan’s GDP’s growth rate ranks No.2 in China

Hainan’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate ranked No.2 among the domestic provinces in 2011, according to China’s GDP Index, issued by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on July 27.
According to the report, the ten provinces with the highest indexes of GDP are Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Tianjin, Guangdong, Fujian, Shandong, Hainan and Liaoning.
Meanwhile, the report also revealed the top ten provinces in terms of GDP growth rate. They are Ningxia, Hainan, Chongqing, Shanxi, Liaoning, Xinjiang, Anhui, Hebei, Tianjin and Jiangxi.
The results of the report were calculated through five categories: economic standards, social quality, environmental quality, living standards and management levels.
