The final competition of the 2012 ‘Miss Seven Fairies’ kicked off in Baoting on July 25. A total of 18 beauties from around the country took part in the final competition and seven of them received the accolade of being one of the ‘Seven Fairies’.

 

 

The awarding ceremony will be held at the National Grand Theater in Beijing at the end of this month. During the ceremony the Seven Fairies, along with the former winners, will stage performances with Li and Miao ethnic flavours.

 

The event has been held for 5 years, and has played an important role in showcasing the unique culture of Li and Miao minority groups.
