Chen Xin said she felt a little dizzy after the marathon swimming across the Qiongzhou Strait
    
Chen Xin, a 10-year-old Qionghai girl, has become the youngest female to successfully swim across the Qiongzhou Strait in Hainan.

She started her marathon swim at 5:45am on 28th June from Chikanzi beach, Hai’an town of Guangdong, and successfully arrived at Haikou at 6:40pm after 12 hours and 55 minutes’ hard struggle.

Without much experience, Chen Xin strained the muscles of her left arm at 1:30pm due to a big wave. She finished the remaining distance with only her right arm.

Encouraged by the people who accompanied her, she finally arrived at the destination Baisha Gate beach in Haikou at 6:40pm. Chen Xin successfully swam across the Qiongzhou Strait in 12 hours and 55 minutes and swam for 29 kilometers only with her right arm.
