Tourists were enjoying Banboo Dance at Sanya Nanshan Cultural Tourist Zone.
 
During the Dragon Boat Festival this year, short-distance tour heated up in Sanya, and the number of tourists visiting Sanya scenic spots such as Nanshan Cultural Tourist Zone and Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone increased dramatically.
 
Nanshan Cultural Tourist Zone received 24,000 visitors from home and abroad during the 3-day holiday, amongst which 5000 were local tourists. Nanshan Cultural Tourist Zone attracted numerous family tourists and couples with its colorful folk customs such as applying realgar, bamboo dance and putting up wish cards.
 
Statistics shows that there were a total of 2,250 self-driving vehicles visiting Nanshan during the 3-day holiday, and most of the vehicles hailed from Haikou and Guangdong.
 
Meanwhile, the number of tourists visiting the Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone reached 7,500. Among which, 2000 were local residents, who have become the main force of tourist flow growth this year.
 
According to a staff member of the Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone, in order to reverse the depressed tourism market, they have launched a ‘ticket-free’ preferential policy to all Hainan residents and students in June this year.
