Rainstorms forecasted to hit parts of Hainan till Monday
China's meteorological authority on Saturday forecast heavy rain in the nation's south and southwest over the next three days.
Some areas in Yunnan and Hainan provinces will experience rainstorms from Saturday to Monday, according to the National Meteorological Center.
Meanwhile, high temperatures of above 35 degrees Celsius are forecast for portions of northern China and regions along the Yellow and Huaihe rivers, it said.
Spreading showers and thunderstorms will also hit Inner Mongolia autonomous region and areas in China's northeastern provinces, the center added.
