China-US Cooperation Experimental Class to enroll 60 students in Hainan
The China-America Cooperation Experimental Class in Hainan Overseas Chinese Middle School will enroll students ahead of schedule in 2012. The self recruitment will be conducted soon. 60 students will be recruited in Hainan Province according to the plan.
The China-America Cooperation Experimental Class is a project jointly opened in 2010 by Hainan Overseas Chinese Middle School and American Thomas Jefferson High School in Texas. It imports part of AP course (English Language Art and Science) of Texas in America. Teachers are sent by America to teach in Hainan Overseas Chinese Middle School. The teachers from the two parties carry out course management and study evaluation together. Meanwhile the Hainan Overseas Chinese Middle School also sends teachers to Thomas Jefferson High School for Chinese teaching in order to improve the exchange of Chinese culture. The China-America Cooperation Experimental Class successfully opened in last September with 60 students of two classes.
The China-America Cooperation Experimental Class will enroll students ahead of schedule with application period from April 23 to May 10. Graduates from Grade 3 in middle schools throughout Hainan Province will be able to apply for the class. The paper test and interview will be held on May 12 and May 13 respectively.
