USA boxer Miriam Nakamoto wins the Hainan WBC MUAYTHAI title

A WBC MUAYTHAI world title for female has been created in Haikou City, the capital City of Hainan Island, China, on 21 August. Miriam Nakamoto from the USA has won the mega-fight over Claire Haigh of Luxemburg. Other 14 professional fighters were from 9 other counties participated for the title.
The WBC sanctioning of the event is now a major attraction for the Hainan province, which is developing as a premier sports and holiday destination.
Promoter of the event is WBC MUAYTHAI promoter in China, Jianjun (Tony) Chen in association with USA Muaythai promoter Dennis Warner.
Vice Governor of Hainan Province, Chen Ya Jun said the WBC brand of international boxing and martial arts Muaythai would bring the "very best ring sport attraction " to China’s popular southern island.
