To improve its tourist reception capacity of the aerospace tourism, Wenchang is going to build 28 star-rated hotels, including 17 five-star properties.
 
After the completion of the Wenchang Satellite Launching Center at Longlou town in 2014, it is expecting a visitor flux of 10,000 tourists within the same time, and about 20,000 tourists will enter every day. Therefore, the tourist reception capacity of Wenchang city is in dire need of an improvement.
 
At present, there are 12 five-star hotels in Wenchang. According to the plan, this year, 28 starred hotels will be built, including 22 new and 6 continued.
 
Wenchang plans to build 162 projects this year, including Satellite Launching Center supporting projects, infrastructure projects, industrial projects, agricultural projects, social undertaking projects, affordable housing projects, tourism business service projects and real estate projects.
