The Super Bowl's popularity continues to grow as more and more Chinese become interested in American football.

Huang Jianxiang, who was once one of the most renowned Chinese soccer commentators for CCTV 5, and Dong Li, a famous sports TV host, commentated on Monday's Super Bowl live from Indianapolis for PPTV, a leading on-line TV service in China.

PPTV is becoming renowned for its live sports broadcasts, which are enhanced by its staff's vast experience and cutting-edge technology.

Apart from Huang, whose controversial comments in support of Italy during the 2002 World Cup saw him forced to leave his job at CCTV, other sports commentators have also set out to learn more about American football in the hope of finding work on the internet or at television stations as the sport gathers more and more Chinese fans and media.

According to NFL China, Chinese can now watch the game on Dragon TV, GDTV-Sports, Shanghai's G-Sports, BTV-Sports, Shanxi-Sports, Hainan-Sports and Euro Soccer.

Leading portals Sina Sports and QQ Sports also provided live broadcasts.
