Members of the Hainan Association on Friday night hosted a media appreciation dinner at a restaurant in the capital.

The event was attended by media representatives, as well as members of the executive committee and youth section.

The president of Hainan Association, in his welcoming speech said, the gathering act as an opportunity to further strengthen ties with members of the media and at the same time to appreciate their role and their continuous support toward the association activity. The function started with ‘Yee Sang’ toss led by the president.

The event was also held in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration – an opportunity to exchange CNY greetings with the executive committee members as well as media representatives.
