Hainan receives over 200,000 Russian tourists in Jan-Nov, 2011
According to the Hainan Tourism Development Commission, the overseas tourist arrivals to Hainan are expected to hit 800,000 this year.
From Jan. to Nov., Hainan received 200,000 tourists from Russia, an increase of 51.9% over the same period of a year earlier.
In terms of the overseas tourist components, tourists from Europe and South American markets will record figures of 390,000 and 40,000 respectively.
Besides, visitor arrivals from Taiwan also increase dramatically thanks to the intensified direct flights. At present, the weekly flights between the two regions climbed to 13, which are expected to bring a total tourist arrivals of 100,000.
