Spearheaded by Cheng Chung Design (Hong Kong), the resort’s redefined interiors carry a voyage inspired theme décor. Voyage-based elements including raw wood, boats, coastlines, waves and more are vastly applied in the hotel’s design to yield a fun,  exploring vibe.

On September 25th, 2020, five professional chefs from top five Marriott hotels in Hainan gathered in a one-stop foodie destination at Sanya Marriott Yalong Bay Resort & Spa on the occasion of Fifth Stop of “Meet the Master, Savor in Hainan” Food and Beverage Festival.

This chef lineup are: Bernard Yu, Executive Chef from Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay Resort and JW Marriott Sanya Haitang Bay Resort & Spa; Razvan Cublesan, Chef de Cuisine of Sofia from The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay; Daniel Vaquero, Chef de Cuisine of Egret from The Sanya EDITION; Jackson Yang, Executive Chef from Sanya Marriott Yalong Bay Resort & Spa; and Jasmine Chen, Chef de Cuisine of Mai from The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort.
