Hainan Airlines to launch in-flight internet service

Passangers will soon have the ability to use the Internet to send or receive emails or to chat online during flights, according to Hainan Airlines.
In contrast to the wireless intranet services launched by other airline companies in the past, the "air network" recently launched by the Hainan Airlines will be a real "air-land network."
Hainan Airlines said the airline has carried out the first half-day trial run to test daily Internet functions, such as online chatting, video conferencing, online movies, Internet phone calls and Web browsing. All the applications are running well.
