The square is set up as a giant open air seating space under a roof. Upon your arrival, you’ll be hustled by reps from different cooking stalls trying to get you to sit in their areas.

You can pick up fresh crabs or still-squirming white shrimp, or just about any seafood can be delivered from local nets. The cooking stalls will then prepare it to your liking within about 15 minutes.

Aside from the fish and veggies, there are people walking around selling fresh fruit and prepared foods like dumplings or coconut rice.

Transportation: The seafood square is near the Tong Xin Jia Yuan Residential Community (Chinese:同心家园小区). Get there by taking Bus Route 27.

Lao Yu Gang Seafood Square 老渔港海鲜广场

Located near the former Honggang Market, the seafood square is over 2,600 square meters in size, making it one of the biggest seafood squares in the city and also has good sea view.

The square has 110 stalls selling seafood and 35 restaurants that will cook the seafood for you for a small fee per dish. Each stall-sized restaurant can seat 70 diners, which makes it a super large seafood dining area that can accommodate over 2,000 people at once.
