The 2020 Hainan Longgun Zhengmen Ridge Haiya Paragliding Invitational Tournament kicked off at Longgun Township, Wanning City, Hainan Province on September 10th, 2020.

The event, jointly hosted by the Hainan Paragliding Sports Association and Longgun Township Government, was aimed at promoting the in-depth integration of new sport with tourism and culture and in Wanning's Longgun Township.  

The event attracted a total of 30 paragliders from over the country. The contestants were on seven teams, including five Vietnamese teams. The paragliders competed in flying skills under international standards and rules of paragliding competition.

An adventurous sport, paragliding attracts participants who love to discover and challenge themselves. The event also created a chance for paragliders to see the beauty of Longgun Town from above.
