Hainan releases epidemic control measures for 2020 National Day holiday
On September 19th, 2020, the Hainan Provincial COVID-19 Prevention and Control Headquarters released a notice on control measures for overseas arrivals in Hainan for the upcoming 2020 National Day holiday.
For staff healthy management: all the scenic spots, airport & terminals, restaurants, shopping malls, supermarkets, transportation hubs and other units are required to monitor their employees' health conditions and enhance hygiene and epidemic control.
For disinfection management, tourist centers, restaurants, major public sites and facilities at scenic spots should be strictly controlled with disinfection and ventilation measures as required. Materials such as 75 percent alcohol cotton balls and disinfectant should be available at tourist centers for free use.
All municipal and county governments, industrial department and scenic spots across the island shall establish a responsibility mechanism for the work of preventing and controlling novel coronavirus infections in Hainan. All scenic spots are required to carry out COVID-19 prevention and control plan as well as emergency work plan.
For transportation services, all transportation hubs on the island, including airports, bus stations, train stations, and ports, shall have temperature-check and health code-check points. Emergency area shall be set up. passengers with temperature above 37.3 ℃should be temporarily isolated in the emergency area, and be treated according to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control.
For catering management, restaurants are required to limit the number of diners in a table. During meals, people are encouraged to eat separately and avoid dining together.
For shopping venues management, shopping malls and supermarkets be strictly controlled with ventilation measures as require. Customers are required to keep a safe distance when lining up in queues at the cashier.
For environmental management, epidemic-prevention measures such as disinfection and ventilation shall also be thoroughly carried out in public places.
For overseas arrivals management, personnel entering in Hainan directly from abroad are subject to centralized isolation at the entry point city for 14 days, and are required to undergo nucleic acid detection on the first day and the thirteenth day, respectively during the centralized isolation. Personnel entering Hainan from other provinces' ports can pass normally in Hainan after showing the certificate of centralized negative results of isolation release and nucleic acid test results of nucleic acid test.
For fever clinic management, All medical and health institutions at all levels must resolutely implement a system of pre-inspection and triage for fever patients; must effectively carry out the search for potential cases, nucleic acid testing epidemiological investigation, and epidemic elimination.
