Hainan imports 48 yachts and sailboats in 2010, ranks No.1 in China
Hainan was ranked No.1 in China’s yacht and sailboat imports in 2010, according to a report released during the 4-day 2011 China (Haikou) Yachting Industry Forum and International Yachting Economy on December 2.
The top three yacht and sailboat importers in China were Hainan, Shanghai and Fujian. In 2010, Hainan imported 48 yachts and sailboats, with total import revenue reaching $US 23.78.
According to the report, China exported 2.02 million yachts and sailboats in 2010, a year-on-year increase of 14.79%. Among China’s provinces, Guangdong, Shandong and Fujian topped the three in yacht and sailboat exports.
