Hainan’s 1st rainforest exhibition hall opens to public for free
The Rainforest Exhibition Center, Hainan first public space dedicated exclusively to photographic rainforest displays was recently opened to the public for free at the Sanya Yalong Bay Tropical Rainforest Tourism Area.
Located at Yalong Bay Tropical Rainforest Tourism Area, the exhibition hall covers an area of 300 sqm. The center displays more than 100 pictures, panoramically presenting the whole Hainan Island ranging from the island’s major mountains and the unspoiled rainforest landscape.
It is the first ever of its kind in Hainan to help satisfy the artistic and educated needs of the city’s residents and tourists.
Among the showcasing photos, many rare plant and animal species are labeled specifically with the Chinese and Latin names to help visitors have a better understanding of them.
