Six Sanya scenic spots listed among China’s 100 ‘happiest’ tourist attractions
The China Tourist Attractions Association and a research institution under the Overseas Chinese Town Holdings Company (OCT Group), a leading national theme park developer and operator, jointly released the 2019 China Top-100 Happiest Tourist Attractions Index Report on April 20th, 2020.
The index was compiled based on online comments from tourists who had visited the 1,181 tourist attractions sampled in the research. The report transformed the emotions, feelings, and experiences of tourists into visualized and measurable data, according to the OCT institution.
The top three tourist attractions with the highest happiness indices were The Palace Museum in Beijing, Shanghai Disney Resort, and the Chengdu Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding.
The index aims to help tourism practitioners better track consumer preferences and adjust their business strategies, and can also serve as a reference for tourists in choosing travel destinations.
