A launch ceremony for the Sanya Investment Promotion Bureau was held in Sanya on February 18th, 2020.

Sanya is establishing the business investment project as its “No.1 Project,” following the strategy of serving the country and the strategic orientation of “Three Zones and One Center.” The establishment of the Sanya Investment Promotion Bureau is an important move for the city in implementing the spirits of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s “4•13″ important speech and the deployment work of the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Hainan Provincial Party Committee and the CPC Sanya Municipal Party Committee, and in helping Hainan develop into an international free trade port.

The Sanya Investment Promotion Bureau will adopt the construction model of enterprise-like management and market-oriented operation. The major responsibilities of the bureau will include offering services for enterprises and investment projects, establishing and managing the investment liaisons and investment platforms at home and abroad, constructing and managing information management systems for investment promotion. In addition, the bureau will also take the lead in organizing the city’s major investment promotion activities and coordinating the city’s investment promotion efforts.

The Sanya Investment Promotion Bureau will focus on aiding the development of the city’s three leading sectors — tourism, modern services, and high-tech — as well as the tropical high-efficiency agriculture industry. The bureau will provide guidelines for enterprises in planning and designing projects and attracting investment.

The Sanya Investment Promotion Bureau will research established policies and create a land utilization plan to help prepare for the construction of key projects in the Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City and the Central Business District.
