2020 Hainan (Sanya) International Marathon postponed
In order to avoid the risk of the spread of the coronavirus, and to protect the health of runners, referees, staff, as well as spectators, the organizing committee of the 2020 Hainan (Sanya) International Marathon has decided to postpone the race, which was originally planned for February 23rd, 2020.
Depending on the development of the epidemic, the organizing committee will release through official channels the time for which the race will be rescheduled.
Participants who have successfully applied for the competition, completed payment, and are qualified to participate in the competition, have the following options:
– Successful applicants who still wish to participate in the race:
The organizing committee will reserve your spot, and there is no need to sign up again.
– Successful applicants who wish to withdraw from the race:
Applicatuon should follow the race’s official WeChat account, and then click “withdraw” and fill in the application form before 6 p.m. on February 20th, 2020. The application fee shall be refunded to the account the applicant used to pay his/her application fee up to ten working days after the withdrawal application is submitted. Otherwise, the applicant shall be regarded as having agreed to reserve his/her spot for the competition.
