Some areas in Sichuan, Henan, Hubei, Guizhou, Hunan, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong and Guangxi are expected to receive precipitation accumulating up to 40 mm, according to the National Meteorological Center (NMC).

Hainan province and the eastern parts of Guangdong Province will see precepitation amounting to 170 mm in the following days, said the NMC.

Light to moderate snow or sleet will hit eastern parts of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau starting Sunday, the NMC added.
