2019 European Challenge Tour – Hainan Open in Sanya in Oct

The 2019 European Challenge Tour – Hainan Open will be held at Sanya Luhuitou Golf Club from October 14th to 20th, 2019.

The event will feature 126 golfers from at home and abroad competing for total prize money of USD 350,000.

Last year, Finnish golfer Kalle Samooja claimed his first European Challenge Tour title at the Hainan Open 2018 in Sanya.

Inaugurated in 2009, the Hainan Open, formerly known as Hainan Golden Coconut Golf Open, is jointly organized by the China Golf Association and the he Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports of Hainan Province.

After nine years, the event has become one of the leading international golf tournaments in China, a splendid addition to the Province’s signature island atmosphere of coconut trees, fresh air and beautiful scenery.
