On August 6th, 2019, Sanya Jiaxiang Air Cargo Services Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Pacific Islands Trade and Invest Commission (New Zealand) to jointly construct a South Pacific Islands Pavilion in Sanya.

Relying on the development of the Hainan Pilot Free Trade Zone, the South Pacific Islands Pavilion will be a comprehensive service platform integrating investment, trade, culture, and tourism. The pavilion will promote the South Pacific Islands region in Sanya and across China.

According to the agreement, the pavilion will be located in the Sanya Jiaxiang Air Freight Agricultural Products Processing and Trade Cold Chain Logistics Industrial Park (Hainan Free Trade Zone Customs Special Supervision Zone) in Tianya District, with a planned area of about 500 to 1,000 square meters.

The pavilion will serve to promote characteristic tourism products and showcase featured commodities from the South Pacific Islands and New Zealand. In addition, to strengthen communication and cooperation with the South Pacific Islands, the pavilion will feature platforms intended to facilitate cultural exchange and cooperation, as well as tourism development interaction.
