On June 28th, 2019, 50 elderly couples from South Korea arrived in Sanya, starting their four-day journey of filial piety culture in Sanya.
The event is the first session of the 2019 Sanya-South Korea Filial Piety Tourism Season. It aims at enhancing recognition of Sanya tourism in South Korea by inviting 100 elderly Korean couples to visit Sanya.
The event was guided by the Sanya Municipal People’s Government and co-hosted by the Sanya Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau and Hainan Korea Holiday International Travel Services Co., Ltd.
The Korean tourists will visit major tourist attractions in and around Sanya, including Binglanggu Valley, Nanwan Monkey Island, Sanya Bay, Nantian Hotspring Resort, Dongtian Park and Phoenix Hill.
