The Sofitel Sanya Leeman Resort will open again the annual French music festival event –  Fete de la Musique on June 22nd, 2019. Guests are invited to join to savor the sounds and melodies of the hotel’s resident band as well as a surprise guest band and DJ for the evening! Story about FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE

Every year since 1982, on 21 June, the whole of France has followed the rhythm of the festival (Fête de la Musique), which was launched by then-culture Minister Jack Lang. As a result, the first day of the summer was marked by several concerts, which were held on the streets, squares, gardens, house courtyards, museums, castles, bars, and performance halls across France. Amateur or professional musicians (bands, opera companies, choirs, etc.) will share their passion for music for free with the general public. Sofitel Hotels around the world have been celebrating together every year in more than 120 locations around the world since 2010.
