On June 5th, 2019, a press conference on the promotion of family-oriented summer tour products was held at the Sunshine Resort Intime Sanya.

To increase the city’s appeal as a vacation destination for family travelers from home and abroad, the Sanya Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau has been working with Sanya’s tourism service providers to develop more quality tourism products and launch promotions by offering benefits for family tourists for the upcoming summer vacation season in the city.

At the conference, a cooperative agreement on the integration of summer family tourism product resources was reached among the Sanya Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau, the Sanya Parent-Child Tourist Association, the Sanya Hospitality Association, Sanya Tourist Attraction Association and Sanya Travel Agency Association.

At the conference, a summer tour product tailor-made for family travelers with kids aged below 6 years old was highlighted. Family travelling with kids in Sanya can enjoy the following benefits: (1) Kids under six years old can enjoy free entrance tickets to the scenic spots as well as free of charge for an additional bed in a hotel; (2) Mothers can enjoy half-price entrance tickets in the scenic spots. Sanya is the first tourist city in China to embrace this special travel promotion for families travelers.
