3rd China (Sanya) Int’l Forum on Rice on April 10-13, 2019
The 3rd China (Sanya) International Forum on Rice and the 1st International Rice Exposition will be held in Sanya from April 10th to 13th, 2019.
The opening ceremony of the forum will be held at Mangrove Tree Convention Center at Mangrove Tree Resort World Sanya Bay on April 11th, 2019. Yuan Longping, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, will again serve as the chairman of the forum.
The forum will feature:

– A “Belt and Road” National Ministerial Round-table Dialogue
– An International Forum on Rice Science and Technological Innovation
– International Forum on Rice Intensive Processing
– First International Rice Exposition
– International Rice Industry Summit Forum
– A “Belt and Road” International Rice and Wheat International Seminar
The forum will serve as a comprehensive exhibition integrating rice forums, scientific research, planting, processing, commerce, technology, and culture, and will display the latest scientific and technological achievements of the upstream and downstream industrial chain for rice.
In addition to the events at Mangrove Tree Convention Center, a venue for the exhibition of new rice varieties and new technologies from the countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” development project will be set up at Sanya Haitang Bay Paddy Field National Park.
Sanya Haitang Bay Paddy Field National Park has been chosen as the venue for the exhibition of new rice varieties and new technologies at the annual China (Sanya) International Forum since 2017.

Rice breeders from countries and regions including Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh will be invited to take part in the event, where they will showcase products and technologies for insiders, share experience, and discuss the development of the rice industry.
