4th World Tai Chi Festival in Sanya’s Nanshan in October

More than 300 Tai Chi masters will gather at the Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone in Sanya starting on October 26th to 30th, 2019, for the Fourth Sanya World Tai Chi Culture Tourism Festival.

Tai Chi is practiced not only in China, but all over the world. The World Tai Chi Culture Tourism Festival will be even greater in scale for its fourth consecutive year. At least ten events are planned, including a Tai Chi Culture Parade, performances by Tai Chi masters, training sessions by experienced Tai Chi instructors, and an award ceremony for individuals making outstanding contributions to the development of Tai Chi.

Some masters will give talks about their experiences in practicing Tai Chi and training students. Fans can do morning exercises on the mountains and immerse themselves in the beautiful scenery.

This year, the organizing committee will continue to use social media channels to promote the festival. A photography contest about Tai Chi and the filming of a documentary about Tai Chi masters has already begun.
