The overseas tour market on Hainan Island will be very prosperous during the upcoming National Day holiday and the market performance in China’s Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are quiet popular, according to statistics from local travel agencies.
 
The week-long travel routes to destinations like Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore and Malaysia have attracted the largest number of Hainan tourists and tours to conventional islandd such as Bali and Phuket are also very popular.

"Registration for outbound group tours is near completion," many travel agencies told a reporter. 
 
"There are still chances to register to join tour groups in traveling to other Asian destinations while popular travel routes have been booked up,” Xie Jinhua, a local travel agency operator said. 
 
In addition, tours to Taiwan remain attractive for many Hainan tourists with its relatively stable tour prices. A 5-day trip to Taiwan costs around 5,800 yuan. 
 
Each tourist will have to spend 4,000 yuan to 5,000 yuan on a tour on these popular destinations during the 7-day holiday, an increase around 20% compared to normal rates.
