According to the Ministry of Railways, the sales of bullet trains tickets on Hainan East Ring Railway will go online starting from Sept. 22, reports hinews.com.

To improve the quality of passenger railway service, the online sales of all bullet train tickets will be available at the end of this month and passengers will pay lower fees if they refund tickets.

Starting from Sept. 20, passengers can buy tickets online for Wuhan-Guangzhou, Zhengzhou-Xian high-speed railways.

Six more high-speed railways will go online next Thursday, including Hainan East Ring Railway, Shanghai-Ningbo, Shanghai-Hangzhou and Guangzhou-Shenzhen.

Meanwhile, the ministry ruled that it will charge a 5% refund fee starting from Sept 25, compared with the 80% of the ticket price back in the past.

The ministry said that tickets for all bullet trains will be sold at www.12306.cn (Chinese only).
