China's General Office of the State Council announced on Friday morning that this year's Labor Day holiday will be extended to four days.
 
The pre-planned one-day break falling on May 1st will be adjusted to a four-day holiday starting from May 1st to May 4th, while April 28th and May 5th will be working days.
 
The ministry urged tourism-related departments to get fully prepared for transportation support and tour products supply to secure travelers a safer holiday.
