Bilateral trade value between Hainan & Vietnam hits $US197m in H1 of 2011
Bilateral trade value between Hainan and Vietnam grew 13.03 percent year on year to USD 197 million in the first six months of 2011, according to the Department of Commerce, Hainan Province.
Hainan gained USD 24.65 million from exports to Vietnam and spent USD 172 million on imports from Vietnam, and the two figure expanded by 126.57 percent and 5.47 percent year on year.
Hainan-Vietnam boarder trade value widened 65.7 percent year on year to USD 92.88 million. Among ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries, Vietnam became the largest trade partner of Hainan Province. Hainan-Vietnam boarder trade value was up 50.5 percent year on year to USD 140 million in 2010.
