Beijing Capital Airlines, the subsidiary of Hainan Airlines, launched three new routes in the last week. From Haikou (HAK) on the tropical island of Hainan south of Mainland China, the airline now flies daily to Ningbo (NGB) in eastern China as of 11 July, competing with Hebei Airlines' also daily flights. From Ningbo, the flights then continue to the northeast.

Four weekly flights continue to Shenyang (SHE), competing with China Southern's daily flights, and the remaining three flights a week fly onward to Dalian (DLC), operating in competition with China Southern, Hainan Airlines and Xiamen Airlines – each operating daily. All of the new flights on Beijing Capital Airlines are operated with 138-seat A319s.
