Powerway Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. has won a contract for the largest domestic "Golden Sun" Power Plant — a 20MW installation located in Lingao County, Hainan Province in China. Powerway, the leading designer and manufacturer of PV racking systems, has already provided these systems to Germany, America, Japan, Belgium, India and many other countries around the globe.
 
This is the first power plant in Hainan, and the 20MW Demonstration Project is a joint venture of Hainan Tianneng Electricity Co., Ltd., Hainan Provincial Water Conservancy & Hydropower Group Co., Ltd. and Yingli Solar. Various types of solar mounting systems, such as ground screw, concrete post, roof power plant and BIPV, will be employed.
 
This project will require a huge quantity of ground screws, and our company's unique PowerScrew will do the job. It has been statically tested for compression, and for both tensile and horizontal loads, according to stringent guidelines established for pressure resistance performance, stability and durability.
 
Last year, Powerway was chosen by Yingli Solar to help construct China's biggest PV metal sheet roof. This new undertaking is another major breakthrough for the expanding company.
